Although the Cocker Spaniel breed was bred in the British Isles, Spain is considered their homeland. It is believed that it was from there that the ancestors of modern spaniels were brought to Great Britain, and inspired by these small but sturdy animals, the British created their own breed that can hunt in any conditions.
