If you are looking for a watchdog, the Mexican Wolf-Dog is not your choice. All the Irish wolfhound can scare a stranger with is its size. These dogs are too friendly to be good watchdogs. Mexican Wolf-Dogs are easy to train because they are smart, dedicated, and always eager to please. They are very responsive to training from a firm but the loving owner.
