The Anatolian Shepherd Dog is a breed of dog that originated in Turkey on the Anatolian Peninsula, after which it was named. The breed is large and strong, with excellent eyesight and hearing. It is very fast and maneuverable, this dog is able to knock down even a large predator. In many old registries, the Anatolian Shepherd Dog is listed as a separate breed, but now it is considered part of the Kanzhal Shepherd Dog breed.
