The Rhodesian Ridgeback is a hunting dog native to Central Africa. Medium-sized ridgebacks have a light-footed head and a brown or black-pigmented nose. The lips are smooth, the jaws are powerful with a regular bite, the cheeks are free of dewlap and folds. The eyes are yellow or dark, the ears are set high, of medium size, the neck is medium, muscular, and in proportion to the body.
