Dogs are social creatures and enjoy being part of a pack. They are also quick to learn and can adapt to their environment just about anywhere they go. Pit Bull Mako is a very good boy and a great example of both. He’s also a cat. Well, at least he thinks so.

As with many shelter pets, it can be said that Mako chose his new family himself.

“When we went to the pet shelter, Mako looked over his shoulder and looked straight into our eyes, and we just fell in love with this little guy,” Bethany said.
