Like all Spitz, Keeshonden are very agile, lively dogs. They love to play, have fun, and be the center of attention. These dogs are very strongly attached to the owner and often even jealous of those around him. In the family circle, Spitz is affectionate and friendly, but they are cold and wary of strangers. Suspicion and aloofness extend to other dogs as well, and Keeshonden are in no hurry to make friends with them. However, if you already have other pets in your home, fluffy dogs will mistake them for their own and quickly find a common language with them.
