Providing Adequate Shade for Your Airedale Terrier
A shaded area is crucial for your Airedale Terrier to escape from the hot sun during hot weather. Provide your dog with access to a covered porch, a dog house, or a canopy to rest in. Avoid chaining your dog in the sun or leaving them outdoors for long periods without shade. If you don’t have a shaded area, consider creating one by installing a shade sail or planting a tree. Remember that even in the shade, your dog may still get hot, so ensure they have access to water, preferably in a cool bowl, to drink from.
Another way to provide shade for your Airedale Terrier is by using a cooling bandana that you soak in water and wrap around their neck.
