Emergency poisoning

If your hamster has eaten something bad or nibbled on a poisonous plant, this can be noticed by the following symptoms, among others:

  • diarrhea
  • difficulties swallowing
  • Vomit
  • salivation

You should never feed these foods to your hamster. Avoid letting your hamster have any contact with this human food at all. However, this list does not claim to be complete. If you are unsure about a food product, do some research before you offer it to your hamster.
