In order to prepare tasty and nutritious food for your dog from natural food, we will need meat, vegetables, and cereals. It is best to buy fresh beef or veal.

A more economical option is to use a bone skeleton, fish ridges, and heads, or both sets. First of all, you need to boil the meat/fish broth well. It is cooked in a pan covered with a lid. The water should be slightly salted. The meat should be cooked until fully cooked until it stops bleeding. The finished meat is removed and cut into portions. The sliced meat is put in the finished soup with fat just before feeding. Then add vegetables to the boiling broth – potatoes, beets, carrots, cabbage. No need to chop the vegetables too finely. The pieces should be large enough for the dog to strain his jaw and chew food carefully. Remember that chewing movements massage the dog’s gums and strengthen his teeth. In 15 minutes after vegetables, we put groats. Hard-boiled cereals should be placed in boiling water with the meat and cooked all the time while the meat is cooking. Some cereals should be soaked overnight (eg, peas, beans, and other legumes).

After adding the cereal, reduce the heat and stir the contents of the pan regularly. Otherwise – the porridge may burn, and it will spoil the taste of the dish. You should also pay attention if your dog has a tendency to be overweight, and you want to prepare dog food, it is better to minimize the amount of cereal.

Most dogs prefer slightly warm food, so it’s best to reheat the soup a bit before feeding.

The main advantage of industrially produced feeds is a balanced content of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates. The quality of feed is divided into several classes: economy, premium, super-premium, and holistic. In the manufacture of it add carefully selected ingredients, which are not inferior in quality to products consumed by man.

The advantages of buying feed are obvious:

  • saving time and effort;
  • variety of flavors;
  • you can choose the ideal food for the body of your pet (depending on the breed, taste preferences, level of physical activity, as well as susceptibility to certain diseases – for this purpose, developed a series of therapeutic foods).

However, it should be borne in mind that dogs often suffer from food allergies. It is necessary to get used to a new food of a dog gradually, consistently.
