The Alaskan Klee Kai emerged from the crossing of Alaskan Husky + Siberian Husky. The Alaskan Klee Kai looks like a Husky and also resembles him in temperament. The breed was bred in the 70s. The breeding goal was a smaller version of the Alaskan Husky.

The breed was recognized by the American Rare Breed Association in 1995 and by the United Kennel Club in 1997.

This breed of dog is very intelligent and learns quickly. Ideally, he is used in dog sports, his urge to move is great.

The hunting instinct is strong! They are reserved and reserved with strangers. Within the family, they are usually affectionate.
